1. A team member has returned to work from a 5 day sick absence. They have been disciplined before for using sick leave to do paid work. A colleague told you that this is the cause of this absence.

2. You are a team leader. You have a number of routine tasks to complete in addition to some additional duties you volunteered for. You need to spread the workload.

3. Your team are unhappy that they don’t appear to receive information about important organisational developments

4. You are a newly appointed Manager to a new team and have noticed that one member isolates himself from others. There are no other issues with his performance, and he says there is nothing wrong.

5. You are presenting information to a large group, each member representing a different organisation. One individual has repeatedly raised issues which are specific to her own organisation only.

6. A member of your team asks if they can come onto shift 20 minutes late for the next 2 weeks as they are having transport difficulties which will not easily be resolved until then.

7. You are attending a meeting a member of the public approaches you with a phone video clip of one of your team swearing at a group of teenagers whilst off duty.
